 SUNDAY SCHOOL
Sunday School at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church has something to offer everyone at every age. Sunday School for the children is held at 10:30 AM during our Worship Service.There is infant care for newborns through 18 months. Toddlers (18 months up to 3 years old) have their own class with a lesson, activity and lots of playtime. Three and Four-year-olds have their own class with a lesson, activity and slightly less playtime. The Pre-Kindergarten /Kindergarten class for children ages 5 and 6 is structured in much the same way as the 3 and 4-year-old class. Our Primary class is for First, Second and Third graders, and there is a Fourth and Fifth grade. Children ages 5 through the Sixth grade are dismissed from the Worship Service to attend Sunday School.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT PROGRAM
Each Wednesday, we begin the night with a meal at 5:45 p.m. followed by the evening’s activities at 6:30 p.m. During the Fall, Winter and Spring, we have structured programming with music, crafts, stories and refreshments. Again, the lesson studied on Sunday is reviewed, but with an emphasis on service and relationships with others. During the summer months, we have special events such as movies, picnics, scavenger hunts, baseball games and trips. You never know what we’re going to come up with next!

Mt. Pleasant Baptist Youth Ministry exists to reach and minister to youth by developing relationships and exposing God’s love.
REACH is our evangelism purpose. This is us reaching out to youth in our community and inviting them into a relationship with Jesus Christ.
MINISTER is our ministry word. This is us serving needs and sharing our faith through what we do.
DEVELOPING is our discipleship word. It is us growing and becoming more Christ-like. It is applying God’s word to our living.
RELATIONSHIPS are our fellowship word. It is us creating an environment where people can build friendships and get connected to each other.
LOVE is our worship word. It is our commitment to honor and bless God by allowing God’s love to flow through us to touch |
